About Us

Who we are
Pride Corp is a professional development society aiming to build a deeper LGBT community within and beyond NYU. We frequently sponsor professional development workshops, networking events, and social events.

What we do
  • Resume workshops, including advice on how to address one’s sexual orientation
  • Mentoring program with Stern MBAs and alumni
  • Networking events with top firms in finance, accounting, consulting, and technology (past events include: Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Barclays, Ernst & Young, PwC, Boston Consulting Group, Google, and more)
  • Social events with NYU, Columbia, and UPenn undergraduates, graduates, and alumni
  • Volunteer work with local LGBT organizations

Benefits
Not only will you gain the opportunity to polish your resume, find a mentor, and meet LGBT students and recruiters, but you will also join a family of professionals who understand what it’s like to be pioneers in the corporate world. Being LGBT is definitely an asset in today’s competitive job market if leveraged effectively.

How to join
Pride Corp is open to all current lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and ally undergraduate students at Stern. Membership is confidential and students do not have to be “out” to join. We do not hold weekly meetings so join the listserv to stay updated on upcoming events.
